In my previously published post “Review of some Ad Networks that I have tried out”, I gave some Ad Networks with their reviews as well. But for limiting the size of the post, I decided to split Ad Networks in two parts: Good ones and Bad ones. This post contains bad ones with the reasons describing why they felt me as bad ones.

As I love to find new things on internet, I have tried out many Ad Networks to know their performance and suitability. Naturally, I got to know that, many of them are just time wasting ad programs. I have listed out some of them with their reviews as well.

Widget Bucks:

I was very happy with this Ad Network till their last modification in terms of Types of ads and Related Revenue. It was looking very promising to me due to high revenue per click and independency in choosing category of ads. It was really looking a gadget in my website http://downloadwallpapersfree.googlepages.com. But recently they have changed their terms and conditions.

In their words- “Content Here”. This change didn’t look me much wrong. As I think, most of the internet users that buy things online are from USA, Canada. So it’s OK that they provide CPM ads to the traffic that come from rest of the world.

Then what’s the problem with Widget Bucks? Well, I got total about 800 page views for my site. The traffic was also from India, Brazil, Canada, USA etc. as I observed from Google Analytics’ reports. But what was the revenue for those page-impressions? Zero! Yes it was really 0.00$! An important thing to be noted is that the countries from which I got traffic are not such countries for which the advertisers are not willing to pay revenue. It was a totally cheating to me.

Even then, I requested their support for my zero CPM revenue by email. And their answer was of no use to me, because it was containing no information (even no word) about CPM revenue. After this reply, I just removed all the Widget Bucks ads and placed mighty Adsense ads. In conclusion, don’t waste your time and money for Widget Bucks, except your site is getting most of the traffic from the countries that are able to see PPC ads of Widget Bucks.
